University Boulevard Corridor Improvements

This project will build on previous corridor investments by making additional improvements to University Boulevard. These improvements will accommodate various modes of travel (vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles) and will upgrade security, lighting, utility systems, and landscaping in the area.

Update major infrastructure serving a geographic area that generates over $4 billion of annual economic activity
Improve connectivity between downtown, campus, and Alberta
Improve accessibility and safety for multimodal transportation

Downtown-campus phase: hired Duncan Coker to provide survey and related services
Eastern phase: RFQ issued for professional engineering and related services
Eastern phase: completion of survey, environmental assessments, and preliminary design
