Kaulton Park

Summary

Improvements to this neighborhood park are expected to include a variety of amenities, lighting, and security features. Among these are a new playground, public Wi-Fi, park lighting, security cameras, and upgrades to the ball field where kids gather for games. A new, large pavilion will provide not only sheltered seating for the community to gather and host events, but also modern restrooms.

Kaulton Park is comprised of four acres arranged in a unique semi-circle shape. The property was part of the original "Kaulton" planned community founded in 1912 that included Kaul Lumber Company, residential housing, and commercial establishments that served the area. The site was deeded to the city in 1972 and is designated as a public park.
