Summary
Working with city and community stakeholders, professional consultants will create a strategic plan that leads to the successful evolution of the Gateway. Work will include market analysis, program concept development, business and operational planning, and recommendations to update the facility, visitor experience, equipment, and technology.
The Youth Sports and Recreation and the Education subcommittees of Project Unity recommended establishing the Gateway as a center of STEM, E-sports, and digital investments for youth. Currently, The Gateway offers free high-speed internet, laptops, tablets, a digital library, and meeting and work spaces. Educational and community programs are also offered.
