Summary
Building on community and stakeholder feedback, professional engineering consultants will develop a long-term plan for improvements to Bowers Park. The plan will provide design standards, recommend park and facility improvements, and suggest project phasing.
Sitting on nearly 170 acres, Bowers Park amenities currently include: baseball and softball fields, outdoor pool, disc golf course, outdoor tennis courts, pavilions, and Jerry Belk Activity Center, which houses an indoor walking track, sport court gym, wood floor gym, and fitness equipment.
