Summary

A site selection committee comprised of representatives from YMCA of Tuscaloosa and the City of Tuscaloosa are working to analyze a variety of potential site locations for the new branch facility.  The group expects to announce the results of their work in April 2022.  The Youth Sports and Recreation subcommittee of Project Unity identified as a top priority replacing the Benjamin Barnes facility and using it to provide life-changing athletic and educational programming for children and families.
